The white keys
In this lesson we will learn the names of the white keys.
The white keys are named A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. After G, they start over again from A.
Practice writing the names of the notes:

The white notes have black notes between them, in groups of two:

You can always find C before the group of two black notes. Draw a star on each of the C keys:
Now go play all of the C notes on the keyboard. Sing āCā when you play them.
Can you play all of the A notes? The F notes?
Label all the white notes with their names:
An octave is a group of notes including eight white notes, usually C to C:
Play and sing all the notes in the octave, from C to C and back again. When you see ⦠hold the note for a long time.
